The Papal Crucifix is based on the design of the Papal “pastoral” staff that Pope John II made so recognizable during his time as our shepherd in Rome.
The Papal Crucifix is a sign of service in the footsteps of JESUS-the savior who guides and leads, who serves, and gives his life as a ransom for many.
