God was not alone in the beginning, for the Word of God was with God, and the Word of God spoke all things into being. All things were created by Him and for Him, and without Him there would have been nothing created. The Word of God was the genesis of creation, and the light of all living things.

Yet when light dawned upon the darkness, a man named John was sent by God to tell the world about the light so everyone might understand it. The Word of God entered the world as a man, and He shone His light upon all the world…

But the world did not want Him, nor did it desire Him.

The author considers the greatest tragedy in his life to be that he didn’t know the Lord sooner. Isaiah Thomas witnessed the pollution of the world firsthand and realized that the time of the end could not be far off. Two questions emerged: “Why am I afraid to read the Bible?” and “What was the truth about Jesus?”

When Mark found the gospels and read them, he was stunned to see how wonderful a man Jesus was. Jesus was bold and intelligent, caring and compassionate, truthful and honest. With his conscience revived, Isaiah pleaded for forgiveness and followed the truth with no regrets. When he told a friend that he could find nothing wrong with this man, he knew his life would never be the same. The story of Jesus should be spread throughout the world for all to see…
