TRADESMEN’S STALLS
The village bazaar bustled with activity. Many merchants were busy crafting their wares when customers called on them. The shop of blacksmiths, carpenters and potters have been functioning workshops. The blacksmith would have a blazing fire to heat the metal that he would form into tools using his hammer and anvil. Nearby he would have a pool of water where newly fashioned implements would be cooled. The carpenter would work amidst the saws, chisels, planes, hammers and wood he would use to create furnishings. The potter would hand form the clay and work into everyday housewares’ such as dishes, plates, cups and pots.
